Arnold Polege

Arnold Polege, 88, of Stratford died on October 30, 2025.
A visitation will be held at Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford on Monday, November 3 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and at Zion Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m until service time. The service will be held on Tuesday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with burial at Zion Lutheran Memorial Park in the Town of Eau Pleine. Rev. Amy Heinz will officiate.
Arnold was born on January 13, 1937 in the Town of Eau Pleine, Stratford, to Richard and Clara (Helms) Polege. He was united in marriage to Judith Spindler on May 1, 1976 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Stratford. Arnold graduated from Stratford High School and farmed with his brother Ed near Stratford until retirement. He also served on the Central Wisconsin Co-op Board of Directors for 15 years and the Zion Lutheran Church Council for 15 years, and he maintained roads and plowed snow in the Town of Eau Pleine for 28 years.
Arnold was predeceased by his parents, sister Ruth and brother Edward. He is survived by his wife Judy, two daughters, Susan (Greg Heide) and Karen, and a son Paul (Melinda). He is further survived by three granddaughters, Aleah, Brynnlea and Kyrielle Polege, and by one sister, Helen (Mahlon) Schmidt.
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church.
