Arnold C. "Arnie" Ruff, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. Arnie was born on March 27, 1936 in Bloomer to Leonard and Rose (Hepfler) Ruff. He married Diane Burton on August 12, 1961 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Bloomer. Arnie was deployed to Germany where he proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the Bloomer American Legion, Blue Diamond Saddle Club and St. Paul's Catholic Church. He drove truck for Chippewa Motor Freight, Conway Central Express and worked as a dairy farmer. He enjoyed driving truck, riding horses, hitching up his work horses and helping his son crop farm. Arnie was a role model for his family, teaching them the importance of hard work and keeping God in their life. Arnie never missed an opportunity to share stories with family and friends and oh.the stories he would tell. He was a thoughtful and gentle soul who loved God, his country and his family. He will be truly missed.
Arnie is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Kelly (Ty) Draper of Nampa, ID, Dean (Cathy) Ruff of Bloomer, Sheila (Keith) Poirier of Bloomer, Kristy (Jeff) Richmond of Nampa, ID; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Rose; brothers, Howard and Delmar; infant sister: Dorothy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 13, 2022 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Bloomer. Inurnment will be at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Bloomer. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
