Arnold Thompson Obituary
He was born on October 27, 1942 to the late George & Lura (Troxtell) Thompson in Sloans Valley, Kentucky. He was a member of Hazeldale Church of Christ.
Arnold is survived by his daughters, Lisa & (Elmer Jr) Presley and Tammy & (Danny) Griffis; his brothers, Gary Thompson, Ronnie Thompson, Roger Thompson, and Mike Thompson; sisters, Rita Hewitt, Lois Blankenship, and Jean Bullock; four grandchildren, Daniel & (Cortney) Griffis, Devin & (Samantha) Presley, Tanner & (Lexie) Presley, and Megan Presley; and a great-grandchild, Kinslee Griffis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Stevens) Thompson; his parents; his brothers, Joe Bill Thompson, Bob Thompson, and Robert Thompson; and sisters, Nancy Flynn and Berthie Corder.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willailla, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 8 PM on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
