ARROW THWEATT Obituary

THWEATT, Arrow Sr., of 6314 Thweatt Drive, Disputanta, Va., departed this life June 14, 2011 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Union Branch Baptist Church, Prince George, Va. He was a self-employed businessman and retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation after seven years of service. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Lanier Thweatt; two daughters, Kimberly T. Bland (Marshall) and Natalie T. Bradford; four sons, Arrow Thweatt Jr. (Meeta), Bryan S. Thweatt, Wayne Thweatt (Patricia) and Roy A. Thweatt; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alvenia Ford (William), Florence Randall and Grover Randall; one brother, Timothy Thweatt (Dorothy); sisters-in-law, Corine Thweatt, Bernice Thweatt, Margie Thweatt and Clara L. Thweatt; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 at Union Branch Baptist Church, Prince George County. Dr. Andrew J. White Sr. officiating. Remains will rest at the church at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends please assemble at the above residence, 6614 Thweatt Drive, Disputanta, at 10 a.m. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Petersburg. Remains rest at Tucker's Funeral Home, 415 Halifax Street, Petersburg. A.A. Tucker, funeral director.
