Arthur Abbood Obituary
Born on August 26, 1944, in Lowell, Massachusetts to the late Arthur Andre and Rose (Hamwey) Abbood. Arthur's life was marked by his unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Jean. Together, they nurtured a loving family that includes their daughter Cheryl Molle and her husband Alexander of Raynham, MA, and their son Jeffrey Abbood and his wife Mary of Charlotte, NC. Arthur found great joy in the company of his grandchildren-Leah McLaughlin, and her husband Marc of Summerville, SC, Alexander Molle and his partner Jason Francis of Boston, MA, Karissa Molle and her fiancé Jackson Towery of Clifton, TX, Nicholas Abbood, and Sophie Abbood of Charlotte, NC. His legacy continues through his cherished great-grandchildren, Maddox McLaughlin, Nico McLaughlin, and Everett Towery. He is also survived by his two sisters, Nancy Grohmann and Carol Abbood of Naples, FL.
Arthur graduated from Lowell University in Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following his graduation, he entered the US Air Force and achieved the rank of Captain.
In 1991, he started an engineering firm with Martin Holloran, Abbood/Holloran Associates, now known as AHA Consulting Engineers.
Arthur was an avid golfer. He was a member of Plymouth Country Club in Plymouth, MA for 30 years and The Classics Country Club in Naples, FL for 20 years.
Arthur's achievements and character will be remembered by those who loved him. He had an undeniable ability to make everyone who crossed his path feel valued. His life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and the importance of kindness and generosity. As we honor Arthur's memory, let us carry forward his legacy of love and compassion.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his remarkable life.
He will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the memories of those who loved him.

Jean - so sorry to read of Arthur´s passing. My condolences to you and your family. I remember the years that as a teen keeping myself occupied by mowing several lawns in our Surrey Drive neighborhood including the Abbood property to earn my spending $$. Sending strength and healing thoughts during this difficult time.

Arthur was a wonderful mentor to many. We still laugh about his comments on the golf course! As a businessman he had a fantastic way of simplifying the most complicated things which made it a pleasure to do projects with him. We have lost a really great industry leader. John Moriarty

Arthur was a friend , Mentor and Partner who was loyal and generous with the people closest to him .
Arthur loved life and had a sense of humor that was second to none .
He had the ability to diffuse challenges and support people around him .
I guess the best way to summarize Arthur was " He Made A Difference " .
This was a life that impacted many and still does .
I miss you Partner .
