Arthur Carlson Obituary
He was born on March 27, 1954 in Fairfax, SC. Art lived most of his life in Jackson, SC. He was a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard. He was a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 150 out of Augusta, GA with 45 vears of service as well as a member of Hopewell Masonic Lodge #127 out of Jackson.
Art was a fan of and enjoyed watching the Carolina Gamecocks, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves.
He enjoyed singing and his love of the Beatles was passed on to his kids and grandkids.
Art is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret G Carlson, his daughters Mandi Brown and Allison Bell (Matt), along with his 5 grandchildren
Ethan, Ashlyn, Elaina, Warren and Atticus. He is also survived by his sister Frieda Harvey (AI). Art was preceded in death by his son Clay Carlson, his sister Cathy Carlson, and his parents Arthur and Gladys Carlson.
At Art's request, there will be a small family gathering on Thursday to celebrate his life.
