Arthur Carr

EDISON-ARTHUR CARR passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at JFK Medical Hospital in Edison. He was 83 years old.
Born in Linden, to Gabriel and Claire (née Gelman) Carr, he resided in Linden before settling down in Edison 23 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 2010 he was a Tax Account for Smolin Lupin Co. in Parsippany and other firms. He worked for 46 years providing his services.
In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and being up to date with politics. He was also an avid tennis player in Linden High School.
Arthur was predeceased by his wife, Fredalind Carr; his parents; his brother, Ronald Carr.
Surviving are his son, Kevin Carr and his wife, Rebecca, of Golden, CO; his daughter, Amy Knadler and her husband, Brian, of Bethlemham, PA; his sister, Ellen Carr of Edison, NJ; his sister-in-law, Susan Carr; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Cayla, Elijah, and Austin.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 10:45 am, at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Woodbridge, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick. For directions, please see "Events" listed below.
