Mr. Centanni was one of my favorite teachers ever. He was hilarious, tough on us yet compassionate. I remember one time we all did horrible on a test he gave us (CJ 101 at Bunker Hill) and instead of giving up on us or just moving on, he asked what HE did wrong. We all went over the material again, he gave us another test and we all did amazing. He will truly be missed. Sending many prayers and love to the Centanni family

I met Arthur 23 years ago when I was a student in his Sociology class at Bunker Hill Community College. He changed my life. He believed in me when NOBODY else did. And because he believed in me, I somehow believed in myself. Knowing him was one of the great gifts I've received in my life. I learned last night that "Per Cent'anni" is a toast in Italian, it means good luck and good health and long life - "for a hundred years". You changed so many of our lives, Arthur. Your legacy will live on - per cent'anni. I'll treasure your memory for the rest of my life.

Arthur made a forever lasting impact in my life, and gave me the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and grow as a person with his unique style of educating people. You gave me Inspiration, hope and believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. Truly 1 of a kind and missed by many. Thank you for the time, effort and dedication to your students

Arthur was my counselor at Adcare and he ran the parenting group I was in.. He was loved. And respected and he cared. He had your back and had NO PROBLEM telling you the truth. He was a good man. He wasn´t an addict but he was one a the very few that could actually understand addiction. I am so so so grateful that I met him 11 years ago... and I even followed him to the place he went after Adcare. I know he had a long life that was filled with good things. Love you Arthur. Thank you for being you. You will be missed. And you made such a big impact on my life. Till we meet again.

I will always be grateful for him helping me stay sober. I went to an IOP in Quincy and he let me stay in it for four months. I just absolutely loved him. God be with him and his family.
