Arthur Dalke died peacefully on January 23rd, 2026, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 90.

Art was born on September 5th, 1935, in Cordell, OK, to August and Clara Dalke. He graduated from Corn High School and received his A&P license in Englewood, CA. He married Wanda Therneau in 1959. Art worked in the airline industry, and the couple lived in various locations in California and Oklahoma. While in California, they welcomed Rhonda in 1964 and later Paul in 1967. They eventually settled in Tulsa, OK, where Jana was born in 1972. His career led him to Rockwell, working as an inspector, later changing to Boeing, where he retired in 1998.

Art was an accomplished mechanic at work and at home. He is remembered for fixing cars, being the go-to repair guy, and volunteering his skills to neighbors and churches for various projects. Once, he traveled as far as Brazil to help build a house for missionaries. In retirement, he found a new hobby and became a skilled violin maker. He was an active and dedicated member of a variety of Mennonite Brethren churches.

Art is survived by his wife Wanda; children Rhonda Perry of Andover, KS and Jana Dalke of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren Jessica (Justin) Worcester of Choctaw, Ok, Jacob Perry of Muskogee, OK, and Reagan Perry of Pittsburg, KS; great grandchildren Madilyn, Charles, and Richard Worcester of Choctaw, OK; siblings Vonita Unruh of Clinton, OK, Caroline Roof of Thomas, Ok, and Deloris (Warren) Wilson of Clinton, OK; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Clara Dalke; brother Floyd Dalke; and son Paul Dalke.

A funeral is scheduled for 12:00 PM Saturday, January 31st, at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer chapel with a reception to follow at Southwood Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wycliffe Associates at www.wycliffeassociates.org or your favorite charity.
