I remember how scared the whole family was when we found out in 1967, that Neil was going to Vietnam. He ended up serving two full years in Vietnam including some time in Cambodia on special assignment.

I'll never forget how excited I was when I found out that Neil used to walk our neighbor home from school. The neighbor grew up to be the actress Pam Grier.

Neil was my big brother... my hero. He was the reason I joined the United States Air Force so many years ago. At the time, he was a police officer in the Air Force, which is also the reason I got involved in law enforcement. I'm going to miss you big bro... I'll never forget Mrs. Gabashaba (inside joke).
