David Elliot Jennings passed away on August 22, 2025 in Las Vegas, NV. David was born August 13, 1952, at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, to James Longstreet Sibley Jennings Sr. and Eleanor McCullar Jennings. David was a talented photographer, an avid reader, and mechanically adept. He was especially proud of his time working on the sets of the TV series, "In the Heat of the Night," when it was filmed in the Atlanta area. David is preceded in death by his mother, his father, his beloved grandmother Bernice Brown McCullar, and his brother James Longstreet Sibley Jennings Jr.He is survived by his sister, Catherine Moirai of Knoxville, TN, his beloved cousin Lisa McCullar Pumphrey (Vance) of Denton, TX, and by cousins Matt McCullar of Ft. Worth and Scott McCullar of Houston, TX.David's ashes will be interred in Memory Hill Cemetery, Milledgeville, GA at a future date.The family wishes to thank the staff of Sunrise Hospital and Infinity Hospice.Arrangements are by Las Vegas Cremations.
