Arthur James Foley

Arthur J. Foley was born in Brooklyn, NY and passed away in Titusville, FL at the age 79. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Art was known for his quick wit, sharp mind, and kindness. He was courageous and not afraid to speak his mind, especially when he thought there was wrongdoing.

Born with a natural curiosity and a love of learning, Art loved reading, watching movies and learning at any opportunity he could. Whether he was immersed in the pages of The Count of Monte Cristo, watching his favorite sci-fi film/tv shows, or testing his vast knowledge with an episode of Jeopardy!, Art delighted in exploring new worlds, both real and fictional.

In his youth, Art was a proud member of the New York All City Highschool Chorus and the Neshaminy High School Chorus, where his appreciation for music was cemented. Professionally, he built a respected career as a Controller, lending his dedication and expertise to Island Helicopter, Ventura Air Services, and Washington Memorial Park. His colleagues knew him as reliable, thoughtful, and exceptionally skilled.

Art had many pets throughout his life, including: Bugle, Bugle II, Babs, Tina, Blood, Ming, Trech, Demi, Milo, Beemo, and Belle, each of whom brought him joy, companionship, and comfort.

Art leaves behind his devoted husband, Jacob Foley; his son, Roger Foley; and his sister, Patricia Foley. Their love for him is immeasurable, their memories countless, and their grief softened only by the profound imprint he leaves on their lives.

Art lived fully and loved deeply. His humor, wisdom, and spirit will remain with all who knew him. Though he has left this world, Art's impact on others will continue to shine.
