Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 11,2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Community Methodist Church, 826 Choctaw Ave., Selma, AL. Rev. Joseph Coleman, Pastor/Officiant. Interment in Pineview Memory Gardens, 5171 AL Hwy 22, Valley Grande, AL.
Viewing/visitation will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM -6:00 PM in Miller Chapel, 608 St. Phillips St., Selma, AL.
OBITUARY Arthur G. Hatcher Sr, called "A.G." was born on December 14,1938 to the late Bessie Butler Fikes and Willie Hatcher in Dallas Country, Alabama. He was a long-standing member of the St Paul Community Methodist Church, where he served as the former Chairman of the Deacon Board.
He served in the United States Army, then returned to Selma where he held various jobs over his career. He retired from his last job with Raytheon Aerospace of Selma where he served as an aircraft inspector.
He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories of his wife of 67 years, Carrie Lewis Hatcher; 10 children, 25 grandchildren; over 50 great grand-children and a host of nieces and nephews.
