Arthur Hubert Obituary
Born in Ithaca, he was raised by his parents Leah Lajza and Joseph Lajza.
Art is survived by his devoted wife Linda; his children Kevin Arthur Hubert (Jane Hancy) and Christine Morse; his grandchildren Heather Hubert, Kylie Morse, Casandra Ponton, and Andrew Hubert; his great grandchildren Violet, Xavier, and Alaia. He is also survived by his sister Beth Hall (Danny) and brother Frank Lajza. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Art graduated from high school in 1962 and continued his education for one year at Cornell University where he played on their hockey team.
Art worked in many fields including electronics, IPD Patrolman, and housepainting.
Although he struggled with many health challenges, including Multiple Sclerosis and kidney disease, his love of family kept him going and fighting for years.
Art was an avid amateur radio operator, enjoying contests and making many contacts around the world.
A funeral service will be held at Herson-Wagner Funeral Home on Wed, January 28, 2026 at 3 o'clock pm.
