Obituary for Arthur Aaron Hunter
Aaron passed away on May 22, 2024, in St John's Hospital with family surrounding him.
Arthur Aaron Hunter was born on December 19, 1950, in Hominy, Oklahoma to Arthur Aaron Hunter and Mavis L (Huskey) Hunter. He was raised by his grandparents. Aaron was a hard worker and responsible at an early age. He mowed lawns and did odd jobs for people so he could pay for all his own clothes and school supplies. Aaron attended and graduated from Hominy High School in 1969. He played football, basketball and track.
After high school, Aaron had a motorcycle accident, where he almost took his life. Later he started working at a place in Tulsa, which is where he had an accident with his head and was scalped. He spent time at the Mayo clinic, having many skins grafts - he was in the medical books due to this incident.
Aaron was married four times and had five children, four daughters and one son. Molly Cabioc was the love of his life. His heart was broken when she passed away from brain cancer in 1997.
Aaron loved to fish and golf in his early years, but later in life he turned to music and his guitar. That became his passion. He loved to play in his bands, "Presence" and "The Force." He toured all over the area, including traveling to California.
Aaron loved his family; he would take care of his grandkids while his kids worked. He loved hanging out with them. Aaron had more health issues in 2000, when he had an aneurism, and he spent a month in a coma. He was never supposed to walk again or have memory, but he proved them wrong. Aaron retired after that accident.
Aaron is survived by his children Jamie Hunter (Chris Maxwell), Cynthia Warren and Matthew (Amber) Hunter; six grandchildren Addison, Hendrix, Tyler (Jasmine Gulley), Tara (Trevor Summers), Christopher, and Danika; one great grand child Miles Summers; sister Andrea Hunter; brother Luther Hunter; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Missy Cabioc, his parents Arthur and Mavis Hunter; granddaughter Tanis Mitchem; brother Joey Hunter;......
