Mr. Arthur Z. Jackson Jr., age 71, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born in New Orleans, LA on August 29, 1951 to Arthur & Ouida (Lewis) Jackson Sr. He graduated from Muskegon High School in 1969, then attended Plainwell College where he graduated with his Bachelors degree. He married the former Mary Smithson in 2001. Mr. Jackson had been employed at Sealed Power Hi-Lift Division for over 20 years until retiring. Arthur was a member of New Life Christian Center and enjoyed many things. Mr. Jackson was always good with his hands, he liked to create origami, style hair, making model cars, playing chess, shooting pool, playing golf, singing and drawing.

Children, Darico (Christopher) Jackson, Gary (Bridget) Knox, Kharisma (Joe) Kitchen, Sharod (Angela) Knox, Jonicko Spears, Arthur (Angel) Jackson III, Jermaine (Tandalla) Jackson, Jermara (SheCosha) Jackson, Janicka Jackson, Treazure Brooks; a host of grandchildren & great grandchildren; mother, Ouida Mae Jackson; siblings, Arnold Jackson, M. Paulette (Gerry) Briggs, Ronald (Pamela) Jackson, Mae Evelyn (Robert) Brodie, Isidore (Rebecca) Jackson, Sequita Jackson, Murice Jackson & Felicia (John) Fortune; uncle, Ceophus (Dorethea) Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Z. Jackson, Sr. & his wife, Mary Joanne Jackson in 2013& a nephew, Antoine Lamar Bryant.
