Bryan A. Jackson, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford. Born on June 7, 1976, in Brookline, Bryan's zest for life and infectious sense of humor touched all who knew him.
Bryan was the cherished son of Toussaint N. "Touie" and Barbara W. Jackson of Milford. He was a beloved brother to Tracey N. Jackson and her partner Michael J. Sevigny of Hudson, NH. His spirit and legacy will be carried on by his devoted daughter, Jenessa F. Jackson-Lobisser, and her fiancé, Anthony Flores, of Milford. Bryan's memory will also be treasured by his adoring niece, Whitney N. Morse of Hudson, NH, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he enriched.
A proud graduate of Milford High School and New England Tech in RI, As a teenager Bryan volunteered at the Milford Humane Society for cats, bringing home a cat or two in his adventure, even teaching one how to skateboard. Bryan's strong work ethic and mechanical genius led him to a fulfilling career at Hopkinton State Park as a fire technician for several years, Charles River Recreation in Newton for 25 years. During the winter months, he was an esteemed snow maker, groomer, and repairman, revered for his expertise and dedication. In the summer, Bryan's passion for the outdoors shone through as he managed kayak rentals and maintenance. His love for pyrotechnics was well known, and as a licensed pyrotechnic expert, Bryan's fireworks displays were the highlight of many gatherings, leaving spectators in awe.
Bryan's interests were as varied as they were intense. He was a man who could fix anything and often did so, spending countless hours in his garage tinkering with his quad, minibike, Jeep, and snow machines. His creative and handy nature meant that friends and family often sought his help with their own projects, knowing that Bryan could be counted on to find a solution to any mechanical challenge. One of the most shining highlights of Bryan's life was his cruise to Alaska with his sister Tracey and Mike where he got to experience endless adventures.
Those who knew Bryan will remember him for his quick wit and boundless creativity. His ability to make people laugh was unmatched, and his presence brought light and levity to any situation. Bryan's legacy is one of laughter, ingenuity, and an unrelenting passion for life.
Bryan's life was a testament to the joy of pursuing one's passions and the importance of family and friendship. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his memory will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. As we say goodbye to Bryan A. Jackson, we celebrate a life lived with enthusiasm, love, and an unforgettable sense of humor.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 4 - 7 PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11am in the funeral home.
Following the funeral service on Friday, a luncheon to follow at Trinity Episcopal Church, 17 Congress Street, Milford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Bryan, may be made to the
American Heart Association or the Milford Humane Society.
