Arthur Jackson Jr., a beloved musician and vibrant spirit, passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on September 14, 1952, Arthur dedicated his life to his passions, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

A talented musician, Arthur was known for his mastery of the saxophone, with a particular fondness for the tenor saxophone. He shared this passion with others by performing at numerous venues, including the Motown Review in Grand Prairie Theater and Richardson, Texas. His love for music was matched only by his warmth and cheerful personality, earning him a place in the hearts of many.

Arthur was a godly man who lived through his faith and cherished the time he spent with his family. Throughout his career, he worked diligently at General Motors, starting at the CPC Willow Run plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan, before transferring to the Arlington plant in 1993. With over 45 years of service, Arthur was known not just for his work ethic but also for the camaraderie he built with his colleagues during his tenure.

An avid traveler, Arthur enjoyed RVing across the nation, embracing the adventure of the open road. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures and wore his happiness on his sleeve, often donning t-shirts emblazoned with images of legendary singers.

Arthur was more than a musician; he was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather affectionately known as "Pa Pa," a brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His caring nature and happy demeanor created lasting memories for those fortunate enough to spend time with him.

Viewing services for Arthur Jackson Jr. will be held on July 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A funeral service will take place the following day, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. Where he served as Deacon of the church

Arthur's spirit will remain alive in the music he played and the love he shared. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
