Arthur Louis Joseph, Jr., passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 96. He was Born in New Orleans, LA on December 24, 1926. Arthur was the beloved husband of the late Rozelia (Rose) Joseph. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Desiree Joseph; parents, Arthur and Stella Doucet Joseph; five brothers, Anthony, Maurice and Rev. Llyod Mercadel, Albert Joseph and Henry Joseph, two sisters, Emily Joseph, and Arthurine Joseph Alexis. He leaves to cherish his memories, his sister, Elizabeth Lawson, and sister-in-law, Ora C. Joseph (Henry), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arthur was a graduate of St. Augustine High School. He later joined the U.S. Air Force and worked as a Teletype Operator. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum as an Electrician. Although he was a modest and quiet man. Arthur enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed drinking his beer on his front step, going fishing with his neighbor, going to 'his second home' BULLET'S Sport Bar, watching Saints football games, hanging out with the fellas, spending time with his relatives and friends, and listening to Nat King Cole's 'Unforgettable'. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service at D.W Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70125 on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:30 A.M.
