Arthur Kaiser "Art" 91, formerly of St. Louis, Mo., passed away on March 17, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. Art was born on July 3, 1931, in St. Louis, Missouri, and spent his adult life in California and Florida.
From 1951 to 1955, he served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was proud of his time in the Navy, during which he was stationed in San Diego and had the opportunity to visit Hawaii and Japan.
He met and married his wife, Rhoda, in 1994. They enjoyed living in Tampa and were involved in their temple, Congregation Beth Am.
His hobbies and interests included tinkering with things in the garage and working on a variety of projects. He also enjoyed G Scale Model Trains, which he had done his entire life. He constructed an elaborate outdoor village and even built an 8-foot-high train track around a room.
Art and Rhoda loved to travel, especially on cruises. They took 25 cruises in total over the years. They went on tours of the Caribbean, Europe, and Alaska. Art also enjoyed spending time with his beautiful family, and was recently particularly proud to be a great grandfather.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rhoda, three sons, Jeffrey (Fonda) Kaiser, Michael Kaiser, and Lawrence (Bernadette) Kaiser, two stepdaughters, Beth Tache and Laura (Peter) Kaufmann, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Leonard, father Harry and mother Rose.
