Arthur "Arty" Edward Kaull, 81, passed away in Manchester, Connecticut on Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was born on October 20, 1944, in Newport, Rhode Island, and lived a life defined by hard work, kindness and deep devotion to friends and family.
A graduate of Rogers High School, Class of 1962, Arty went on to attend Wentworth College before proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968.
Arty was a longtime resident of Manchester, where he opened his local business, Hollywood Service, in 1980, quickly becoming a well-known and trusted presence in the community. Even in his retirement, he enjoyed daily visits to the station to spend time with his lifelong friends Jamie, Viktor and Parviz.
Above all, Arty was a devoted father and a loving grandfather who found his greatest joy in the simple moments, staying active with daily walks and puzzles, spending time with his grandchildren and caring for his dogs, Jerry and Daisy.
He leaves behind his longtime partner and best friend Sally Keeler, his son Arthur Kaull, Jr., grandchildren Ashley Kaull and Maxwell Kaull, his great-granddaughter, Elena Gatechair, and his large extended family through Sally, whom he treated as his own, including their five children, twelve grandchildren and many lifelong friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved son Kenneth Kaull and grandson Kyle Kaull, his parents Alice L. Shaffell and Archie L. Kaull, his brothers Donald Kaull and Robert Kaull, and his ex-wife Doris Kaull.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 20, from 4-7 p.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center Street in Manchester.
