My condolences to the family.
Art was indeed a that "Giant of a man" who led with his heart. Always the consummate gentlemen, he could start a conversation with a total stranger at the "drop of a hat" and have them laughing in no time. I will always remember our days on the road calling on customers throughout the US while Pete's and later at Brown Forman Art you truly were...the Big Guy.
With deep condolences

His SAE pledge class will miss our brother. Art is the smiling brother in the middle of the row below the top. He did not need to stand on the steps to be seen. Phi Alpha brotherChapter Eternal

Art was at the top of my list as a friend, employee, and co-worker during my time with E&J Gallo and Brown-Forman. He will be truly missed as one of the great ones in our generation. I can't think of one person who didn't think highly of Art in every way. Bill Akins
