Arthur found peace on Sunday March 31, 2024, aged 92. Beloved husband of the late Donna (Passolt) Lennie for 61 years. Arthur is survived by his 6 children: Clifford (Tina) Lennie, Tamara Lennie, Brian (Diane – deceased) Lennie, Denise (Daniel) Hahn, Wendy Lennie, Mary (Michael) Schoettel. His 13 grandchildren: Charise Cook, Brandon Lennie, Jennifer Hlawek, Annette (Marques) Beamon, Melissa Hlawek, Stephanie Malone, Ashley (Matt) Carlsen, Kevin (Carlie) Lennie, Sherry (Michael) Lindner, Steve Hahn, Leon (Jennifer Solano) Martin Jr., Kayla Martin, Jack Schoettel. His 17 great grandchildren: Jacob Hlawek, Denise Beamon, Janessa Beamon, Kalia Beamon, Mike Beamon, Billy Malone, Bob Lennie, Theodore Lennie, Dylan Hahn, Aaliyah Lindner, Dakota Lindner, Kailyn Lindner (deceased), Mariana Martin, Alex Martin, Brandon Martin, Am'Unique Nash, DeAntoine Nash Jr.
Arthur served in the U.S. Army at Camp Rucker in Alabama. He worked at American Can Company in Milwaukee, WI as a maintenance supervisor until he retired in 1986. He then went back to work at U.S. Can Company in Elgin, IL as a mechanic. After retiring a second time, Donna and he traveled the U.S. in their RV. Finally settling at Paradise Park Campground in Garden Prairie, IL. He became the handyman at the park assisting with everything. Arthur and Donna enjoyed events at the VFW, Moose Club, and American Legion. They could often be found playing Bingo together and with friends. Arthur enjoyed working on vehicles and woodworking (especially like making clocks).
Memorial service at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield on Friday May 3, 2024 at 1:30 PM. Interment will include Donna Mae (Passolt) Lennie.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be sent to DAV (Disabled American Veterans) www.dav.org.
We want to thank the ICU staff at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center for his care. A very special "thank you" goes to the staff at St. Francis Health Center for everything they did to make Dad's daily care easy.
