Arthur Wayne Migl

Art was born in Houston, Texas to Adolf and Patricia Migl. As he grew and began to discover the world, he found a love and talent for baseball. He became an outstanding player making every all-star team going on to play baseball and football for Stephen F Austin High School where he graduated in 1973.

Upon graduation, Art entered the workforce following his father into the auto parts industry. Ultimately, Art wound up owning his own auto parts store and paint distributorship. He was also involved in commercial real estate. When it was time to exit the auto parts and paint business, he focused on the commercial property. He eventually sold his business and joined PPG Paint Distributors where he worked until his retirement.

Art was a loving and devoted family man always making time for the loved ones in his life. He will especially be remembered for his dedication to the Migl family by carrying on the family reunion that he loved and enjoyed so much. Art met the love of his life Kathy in 2005 and they were married in 2014. Their families combined, growing into a tight nit group enjoying many holidays and birthday gatherings over the years. Art enjoyed taking Kathy country dancing and was known to be quite the gentlemen and dancer. They spent 20 years together building their dream retirement.

Art had many friends and was loved by all who knew him. In 2010, Art joined the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Committee "The Breeders Greeters." He enjoyed meeting and helping all the exhibitors and their families. He met many wonderful friends over the years and he never met a stranger. Art will always be remembered as a tried and true family member and friend that you could always count on to have your back and call on in time of need.

Art is survived by his Wife Kathy Migl; Mother Patricia Migl; Children Jacob Migl, Adrien (Garrett) Dominguez, Rob (Haley) Helmer, Jessica (Kevin) Jensen. Grandchildren Evelyn Dominguez; Olivia Migl; Calem Helmer; Wyatt Helmer; Kimber Helmer; Josh Harris; Kaydence Jensen; Kyle Jensen.Brothers Kenneth (Brenda) Migl; Garrett (Cheryl) Migl Nieces Nicole Migl; Kimberly Migl Wiley

Art was preceded in death by his Father Adolf Migl.
