Stephen Daniel Migl, entered into eternal happiness on August 21, 2024, in
Austin, Texas, at the age of 58. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Born on July 9, 1966, in Seguin, Texas, Stephen's journey through life was marked by an unwavering spirit of love, friendship, and courage.
Stephen grew up in the close-knit community of Seguin, where he was a familiar face at Farmers Feed and Supply, the family business. His early years were filled with the warmth of a large family and the joys of small-town life. A proud graduate of Seguin High School, class of 1984, Stephen carried with him the values of hard work and dedication that were instilled in him from a young age.
After years of contributing to the family business, Stephen moved to Paige, Texas, where he found a new professional home at Honeywell Electronic Chemicals, located in Bryan, TX. For over two decades, he was a dedicated employee, known as "Migl" to his colleagues, and was respected for his commitment and friendly demeanor that could lighten up any room.
Stephen's life was a testament to the love he showed for his family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Dorothy Migl, his brother, Michael Migl, nephew, Bradley Monk, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. His life's legacy lives on through his sisters, Kathy Sonntag (Eddie), Valarie Wyatt (Randy), Christine Smith (Scott), Mary Monk (Kevin), and Nettie Carroll. His memory will also be cherished by his numerous nieces and nephews, affectionately known to them as "Scuba Steve", great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. Stephen's life was further enriched by his former brother-in-law, Mike Carroll, former wife, Sherri, and a wide circle of friends and co-workers.
Stephen's interests were as vibrant and diverse as his personality. As a young adult he loved water sports and music. His most recent interest was his prized Camaro. These simple pleasures were the backdrop to the many cherished memories his family and friends hold dear.
His journey on earth has concluded but we take solace in knowing that Stephen is now reunited with those who went before him and that his love will always be with us.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at St. David 's South Austin Medical Center who cared for Stephen during his illness.
