Arthur Truman Richards, 77, of Sneads, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born to Fernie Emerson Richards and Iduma McKinnie Richards on September 24, 1947, in Sneads, FL.
Truman was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family dearly and always enjoyed having everyone around his dinner table. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and often took his mother along. Above all, Truman loved God, his family, and his country.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven Chris Richards; siblings, Randal, Donald, Troy, and Rex.
Truman is survived by his wife, Maxine; son, Rickey Arthur Richards; daughter, Sylvia Michelle Richards-Horney (Michael); grandchildren, Katelin Richards (Cameron), Sarah Richards Potter (Austin), Fernie Richards, Jacob Horney, Brandon Horney; great-grandchildren, Adeline, Camden, Leah, Clay; brother, Ernie Richards and his late wife, Carla; sisters-in-law, Joanna Lavine Dean, Janie Lee Brown; along with many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Funeral service will be 10 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Salem Wesleyan Church with Pastor Rafael Bellinni officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
Visitation will take place 5-7 PM, Friday, September 19, 2025, at Salem Wesleyan Church.
