In his leisure time, Arthur enjoyed golfing at the Oak Hill Country Club, caring for and improving the home he built for his family, and spending time with his many beloved dogs especially his English Springer Spaniels.
Arthur graduated from Chelmsford, MA, high school in 1962. He began working in his father’s hardware store at a young age. He served in the Army National Guard from 1964 to 1970. Arthur was known for his dedicated work ethic, his focus on honesty and quality, and his ability to problem-solve. He lived by his favorite sayings: "plan your work and work your plan," "measure twice, cut once," and "I am doing the very best that I can."
Arthur will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
