Dear cousins, Don & Sharon and Families,
We were indeed saddened to learn of our beloved Uncle Jack's passing. Although the many miles between us prevented frequent visits, we were always excited when we learned Uncle Jack was coming east. What I remember most of Uncle Jack was the twinkle in his eye when he was in the middle of a joke or otherwise humorous line. I believe his sense of humour served him well in life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Cousins, Don, Sharon and Families.
I was sorry to hear of Uncle Jacks passing. I always enjoyed seeing him when he came home for a visit. He always had a great sense of humour and a laugh. He always reminded me of Pop Stephenson and looking at his picture right now, you can really see the resemblance. His smile was a happy smile and he loved to laugh. I am sure he will be greatly missed. Take care of yourselves and your families. We are thinking of all of you here at this sad time. Bye for now. Gary Dawe

Dear Sharon, Don, and families,

Karla and I send our deepest condolences. Uncle Jack was a thoughtful and kind person with a wonderful sense of humour. We cherish our memories of times spent together in Newfoundland and Nanaimo.

I have very fond memories of Uncle Jack from my families visit there when I was 14. He had a great heart and a great sense of humour. I often think back to moments with him from that visit that almost thirty years later still make me smile...

Sharon, Don and families: May God's peace and good memories of your dad comfort you in your sorrow and loss. I sorrow with you.

Our family has such good memories of Uncle Jack when we visited there and when he and Aunt Doris visited us in Ontario. He was always making us laugh. I still treasure a bowl and a card table he made for Mom & Dad years ago.
