Arthur H. White

Arthur "Whitey" H. White, 79, of Howland, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Art was born on February 15, 1946, in Warren,the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Leasure White.
A 1964 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, Art worked as a crane operator at Van Huffel-Wheatland Tube for 41 years, retiring in 2005.
He was a man of the Episcopalian Faith and had a deep passion for his cars and attending car shows. He also enjoyed working in his yard, helping his family whenever they needed him, and enthusiastically attending his grandchildren's sporting events and activities.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 58 years, Dianna Roth White, whom he married on December 5, 1966. He also leaves two daughters, Tami Rovnak and her husband Ken of Chandler, Arizona, and Toni White and her fiancé Tommy Locke of Foley, Alabama; two grandchildren, Cameron White and Tyler Rovnak; a brother, Larry White and his wife Sheila of Howland; a sister, Sandra Latimer of Cortland; and three sisters-in-law, Ruth White of Orlando, Florida, Patricia Marshall of Poland, Ohio, and Mary Kay Karsti and her husband Pete of Youngstown.
Art was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold White Jr., and Thomas White.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 7 PM and Monday from 10 to 11 AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Burial will be in Greenhaven Cemetery.
