Rev. Arthur Willis

Rev. Arthur Willis, age 81, of Del Rio, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was drafted into the United States Army, during Vietnam, he was a Brick Mason and a Pastor for almost 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Agnes (Metcalf) Willis, wife of 53 years, Barbara (Hill) Willis, son, Clarance Willis, brothers, Charles Willis (infant), Herman Willis, Clyde Willis, Kenneth Willis, and Luther Willis. He is survived by his daughter, Melinda (Jamey) McDaniel, son Arthur C. "A.C." (Stacy) Willis, grandson, Jamey McDaniel (Makallia Lynn), brothers, Paul (Doris), Orville (Donna), sisters, Bernice Manning, Pearl Parton, Tennie Lou Yates, Nellie Johnson, and Rachel (Boyce) Williams, several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. , with the funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Randall Frisbee and Pastor Glenn Ball officiating. Burial will take place Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Frisbee-Rathbone Cemetery.
