Arthur Wilms

Arthur Wilms passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. He was born October 14, 1941, to the late Henry and Mary Wilms. Arthur is survived by his loving daughters, Marlene (Robert) Ochoa, and Wendy (Doug) Trivett; grandchildren, Tim, Niki, Mark, Ryan, Rachel; great grandchildren, Lindsey, Scarlett, Kellan, Brooklynn, Dominic, Autumn and Crew; and sisters, Gladys (Bob) Winkler and Margaret Wilms. He was preceded in death by his adored wife, Judy. Arthur worked as a mechanical engineer for Ford Motor Company for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed many different pursuits and would go all in on his current hobby. He loved sailing and boating, golfing, motorcycle riding and biking among others. He even had a talent for singing and sang in a barber shop quartet. In his later years, his passion as a train enthusiast was reignited. Arthur enjoyed his family and especially spending time with his wife prior to her passing. He also retained a wealth of information and enjoyed speaking to others. A visitation to honor Arthur will be held September 30, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sunset Legacy Funeral Home, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, 44070. A service will follow the next day at 10:00 am at Sunset Legacy Funeral Home.
