Artie Belle James, age 70, of Moberly, MO, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO
Artie was born on January 20, 1955, in Naylor, MO, to Albert Eugene and Edna Mae Webster. She was united in marriage to David Ray James, Sr. in 1971 in Doniphan, MO.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father; sisters, Alice Rigdon and Shirley Grogan; husband, David James, Sr.; and son, Jeffrey Lynn James.
Artie is survived by her son, David (Amanda) James, Jr., of Moberly, MO; granddaughters, Kirsten Deonna Birdsong, of Bethel, MO, Mindy James, of Moberly, MO, Annika Parrish, of Moberly, MO, Katie Thomas, and Addison Kitchen; grandsons, Gavin James, of Columbia, MO, Jesse Burton, of Macon, MO, and Joshua Page; great grand kids, Hayden Apel, Kenzeigh McKenzie, Brynleigh Pummel, Spencer Million, Jamison Richter, Evelyn Derboven, Zachary Derboven, Clara Derboven, Jenevieve Parrish, Bellamy Duncan and Octavia Duncan; siblings, Betty Renicker, of Farmington, MO, Dorothy Derr, of Troy, MO, and Gina Trebus, of Colorado.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday, July 14, 2025, at 12 Noon at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12 Noon with Interment following the service at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly.
