Arturo "Tury" Escobar

Arturo Escobar Jr. (Tury), age 48, a resident of Belen NM, passed away suddenly on Sunday October 26, 2025. Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 3, 2025 with a Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. Tury enjoyed fishing and golfing with his family and friends. He loved his children and his family. They were his entire life. He enjoyed stepping in to help lend a hand at coaching the kid's soccer games and practices. He loved to lend a helping hand in any way he could. Tury is preceded in death by his father, Arturo Escobar.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda Templeton and their children, Ariana Escobar & Arturo Vaughn Escobar of Belen, NM; his mother, Maria Escobar of Tucson, AZ; his sister, His sister and her Husband Melina
and Juan Zenteno of Glendale AZ; his niece and nephew, Isabel and Haziel Zenteno – Escobar and Isabel's son, Maverick Zenteno-Escobar of Glendale Az and Tucson, Az. Grandparents, Luis and Leonor Ordonez of Tucson, Az; his tios, Luis and Eva Ordonez of Tucson, Az; Paulette Ordonez of Sahuarita, Az; Miriam and Tommy Clark of Tucson, AZ. Norma and Rosie Ordonez of Tucson, AZ; his cousins Luis and Michele Ordonez of Sahuarita, AZ and their children, Renee, Jazzy, and Mila Ordonez; Celina and Pauly Casillas and their children, Lucy and Elise Casillas of Tucson Az, Jason Clark of Tucson Az. His mother and father -in- law, Brent and Luanne Templeton of Belen, NM. His brother-in-law, Andrew Templeton of NM. brother and sister- in law, Jaclyn Broderick and Knathan Savage of Albuquerque, NM and their children Benjamin, Theodore and Alexa Broderick of Albuquerque NM. His childhood best friend Francisco (Pancho) Sanchez. Along with countless other friends, acquaintances, community partners, and family members.
