Senor Sanquiche taught not only the language but the culture as well, and he revealed many remarkable facets of Latino society. Dear Senor Sanquiche: You left a wonderful impression on me and inspired me to join the foreign language teaching career just like you. When I get to heaven, we can compare notes on curriculum development and classroom techniques!

Mr. Sanquiche was a wonderful Spanish teacher at Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, NJ. My deepest condolences to his family. My favorite memories of him are the various Spanish expressions he posted around the room (including "del dicho al hecho hay mucho trecho") and that he lent me his Chicago (80s musical group) tape so I could dub it. God bless you Mr. Sanquiche. Until we meet again.
