TOWNSEND
Ashlee Lynn Townsend, 34, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022, as the result of a traffic accident.
Born November 27, 1987, in Springfield, she was a daughter of Roger and Deena (Hamm) Townsend.
Ashlee was a former member of Madison Plains FFA, the girl scouts, loved animals of all sorts, especially horses, the outdoors, reading and creative writing.
Survivors include her father Roger Townsend, sister Leslee Townsend, grandparents Billy and Hazel Hamm, nieces Shantayah Minor and Noel Scott, nephews Landon Minor and Leon'tay Scott; great niece Lehlani Miller; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins including special uncle and aunt Glenn and Brenda Townsend and special friend Megan Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her mother Deena Townsend and grandparents Buford and Loretta Townsend.
A celebration of Ashlee's life will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, in the Range Township Firehouse, Sedalia, from 11 AM until 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Ashlee's name be made to the Okefenokee Kidney Charity at Okefenokee Kidney Charity, Inc. - Home (weebly.com).
