REED
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cindy Ann Reed, who passed peacefully Friday, January 30, 2026, at the age of 62 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 23, 1963, in Urbana, Cindy is a daughter of Russell Reed and Dorothy Ann (Landis) Reed. A proud graduate of London High School, Cindy carried a strong work ethic and even stronger heart throughout her life.
For many years, she worked at Krazy Glue, where she formed deep friendships that became so much more than coworkers – they were family. She had a joyful spirit and a playful side, best seen in her love of collecting gnomes and her unwavering support for her favorite Ohio State Buckeyes. Sunshine was truly her happy place, and on her best days, you could find her outside soaking it in, especially if it meant laying out at the beach with the warmth on her face.
Saturdays were sacred for Cindy – whether hosting or attending, she was sure to be found at a yard sale where she found joy in every small treasure and conversation along the way. Above all else, her grandbabies were her greatest pride and joy. She embraced her role as “Nana” with endless love, laughter, and devotion, and to them, she was simply the best Nana they could have ever asked for.
Left to cherish her memory include her son Cody (Heather) Reed of Marysville and daughter Kelli McConnell of Salisbury, PA; grandchildren: Austyn, Myla, Sayde, Emersyn, and Lukah; brothers: Michael (Crystal) Reed, Doug (Helen) Reed, Brian (Donna) Reed, and sister Rose Lewis; many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Dorothy, brother Robin Reed, sister Regina Reed, and niece Angel Marie Reed.
The Reed family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. Funeral services will then commence at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rob Swartz officiating, and interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
