Ashleigh Elizabeth Clous, a remarkable soul and unicorn, whose presence touched the hearts of many, passed away on October 14, 2025, in Grand Rapids, MI. Born on December 24, 1983, in Grand Rapids, Ashleigh was a proud graduate of Grandville High School, where she was a standout cheerleader.
Ashleigh had a rare and beautiful gift for turning strangers into best friends overnight. Her generosity knew no bounds-she was always willing to help others, even when she had little herself, a true testament to the kind of person she was. Her vibrant personality could brighten any room, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Ashleigh understood her deep and heartfelt love for animals, a reflection of her gentle and compassionate spirit.
She is survived by her devoted family, including her father, Gregory Darrow and his wife Lisa; her brother, Zachary Darrow and his wife Stephanie; her beloved daughter, Ryleigh Clous; and her cherished son, Gage Clous. Ashleigh was also a proud aunt to her nephews Trenton, Travis, and her niece Madelyn. She was a cherished granddaughter to Florence Cosby. She leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will greatly miss her warmth and humor. In her personal life. She shared a loving relationship with her boyfriend, Matthew Husler, and held a special, indelible bond with her best friend, Erin Ryke.
Ashleigh was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Pierce Darrow; her grandfather, Robert Darrow; and her grandparents, Robert and Janice Hoffius. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her, as they continue to celebrate the light Ashleigh brought into their lives.
As we remember Ashleigh Elizabeth Clous, we honor the joy she brought into this world and her unwavering spirit of kindness. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and the love she freely gave.

A Celebration of Life will be held at ResLife Church, 5100 Ivanrest, SW, Grandville. MI on October 25, 2025 at 11:30 am - 12:30 pm for the luncheon and 12:30 for Celebration of Life.
