Ashley Wilson Beck

Ashley Brooke Wilson Beck, 41, passed away on November 11, 2023. She was born on March 10, 1982, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Heydon and Heidi Wilson.
Ashley was a beautiful person with a big heart and loved her children, family, and friends deeply despite the many struggles in her life. Ashley had a lot of love for everyone besides herself. On July 14, 2021 Ashley started to love herself again and started her journey in recovery. She overcame her addiction and promised her dad during his final moments of life to continue sobriety and help others overcome addiction.
Ashley spent the rest of her time doing just that, giving back to the same community that helped her.
Ashley overcame a severe illness last year that left her lungs compromised. She recently contracted a respiratory virus, and her lungs could not keep up. This is what caused her passing. Ashley is now free, as free as the beautiful butterfly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Heydon Wilson, grandparents Lucille and Icen Wilson Jr., Helen and Ray Wheasler, and E. Joyce Bailey, uncles Brandon Wheasler and Brett Wilson and her aunt, Sherry Wilson.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Ian (Lillie), Noah (Grace), Brookelynn, Jenna, Khloe, and Keegan, and her mother Heidi. Also, to cherish in her memory is her sister Morgan, nieces Raegan and McKenna, nephew Xavier Wilson, and Uncle Kim Wilson (Pat), Aunt Deborah Henderson, three cousins, and a host of family and friends.
Ashley would want to share the prayer she lived by.
Serenity Prayer
GOD, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot CHANGE, the Courage to CHANGE the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the DIFFERENCE.
Visitation will be 12-5 pm with service to follow at 5pm on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
