Ashley Ann Grimes

On May 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Ashley Ann Grimes peacefully departed this life at the age of 34 years. Ashley was born on January 23, 1990, in Brownsville, TN to her parents Michael Saxon and Melanie Johnson Dawson.

Ashley's journey was one filled with love and dedication. She found her life partner in Shane Cody Grimes, with whom she shared a beautiful union since July 31, 2010. Ashley's vibrant spirit shone throughout her days as she graduated from Adamsville High School in the class of 2008 and dedicated herself to caring for others at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer until its closure. Her involvement with 45 South off-road and passion for crafting brought joy to her and those around her.

A devoted mother above all else, Ashley reveled in participating with her girls Madilynn, Mallory, and Morgan in pageants. Her infectious smile could illuminate any room, and her unwavering courage served as a beacon of inspiration to many hearts.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Shane Cody Grimes of Bethel Springs, TN; her beautiful daughters, Madilynn, Mallory, and Morgan; her mother, Melanie Dawson and husband Allen of Selmer, TN; father, Michael Saxon and wife Kristi of Brownsville, TN; sisters, Kelsey Croom and husband Chantler of Burns, TN, Candice Jones of Martin, TN, Katlyn Saxon and Megan Saxon both of Brownsville, TN; grandparents, Charles and Doris Johnson of Brownsville, TN; mother-in-law, Katie Main and husband Oscar of Bethel Springs; father-in-law, Larry Shane Grimes of Bethel Springs; along with numerous relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Saxon; great grandmother, Lula Mae Dunn; two aunts, Diane Hart and Tabitha Saxon. 
 
Ashley Ann Grimes will forever be remembered for the love she shared so generously and the light she brought into the lives around her. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
