A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Dr. Howard Hall.
Ashley was born on December 8, 1986 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert A. McAnn and Julie Vandergriff and passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in Keithville, Louisiana.
She worked at ORR BMW as an administrative assistant, which was a perfect fit with her outgoing personality. She always had a smile on her face and she never met a stranger. She was a selfless person with a “bleeding heart”. She went on many fishing trips, although she was definitely known to throw the rod down and jump in the lake. She loved the water and enjoyed many trips to the beach. She was a huge sports fan and loved her New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. She was passionate about her relationship with Christ. She knew her bible verses inside and out. She had four dogs who she spoiled rotten and loved to pieces. To know her was to love her and she will be truly missed. Her biggest accomplishment in her life were her two children, who she was extremely proud of.
She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert L. McAnn and Helen M. McAnn; maternal grandfather, Moses Herrera; paternal step-grandfather, Huey Church; cousin, Amanda Herrera; aunt, Wanda Morris. Left to cherish her memory are her grandmother, Mary Church; mother, Julie Vandergriff and husband, Michael; father, Robert A. McAnn and wife, Denise; children, Alexis Hardy and Christian Hardy; brothers, Chris McAnn, James McAnn; step-sisters, Stephanie Vandergriff, Brittany Thomas, Patricia Humphries and husband, Roger; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Honoring Ashley as pallbearers will be Christian Hardy, Patricia Humphries, Roger Humphries Sr., Chris McAnn, James McAnn and Kaitlyn Wallace. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Benjamin Humphries, Roger Humphries Jr., William Tracy, Emily Wallace, and Jaxon Humphries.
