Ashley Marie O'Bryan, 36, of Havana, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. She was born on December 19, 1988, the daughter of the late William Alfred Ray, II and Linda L (Flint) Ray.
Ashley was a graduate of East Fairmont High School she attended West Virginia University and graduated from Fairmont State University. As a child Ashley was an overachiever graduating high school a year early with hours of college credits already under her belt. She enjoyed competing in gymnastics, wrestling, flag football, competitive cheerleading and horseback riding. As an adult she worked for the State of Florida Tax Revenue Department. She was a member of North Florida Baptist Church, homeroom mom at her children's school and loved working with children and animals. Spending time with family was the most important thing to her.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Jase Paxton and Liam O'Bryan, her mother Linda (Flint) Ray, sister Samantha Anne Ray, brothers William Alfred Ray III and his wife Lindsey, Timothy Ray and partner Garrett Glover, nieces and nephews Loria, Lynden, Wylie Ray, paternal grandfather William Alfred Ray I, maternal grandmother Betty Flint, uncles Robert (Melissa) Flint, Jack (Becky) Flint, Tim (Cindy) Ray, Dave (Diane) Ray, Kenny (Teresa) Ray, aunts Cathy (Don) Linger and Elizabeth (David) Hellmig, great aunt Joyce Flint and many loving first, second and third cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Bill Ray, paternal grandmother Gail Ray and maternal grandfather Jack O Flint, Sr.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Reverend Tim Polis will be officiating, and a burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
