Ashley Dawn Ritchie
May 8, 1986-May 11, 2025
Ashley Dawn Ritchie, 39, of Arizona, passed away on May 11, 2025, just three days after celebrating her birthday. She was born in Wyoming on May 8, 1986, moved to Arizona at a young age, spent most of her life in the White Mountains, and graduated from Blue Ridge High School.
Ashley dedicated much of her professional life to meat processing, where her hard work and reliability were deeply appreciated. But it was her vibrant personality that truly stood out. Ashley always had a smile on her face and a unique ability to make people laugh. Her joyful presence lifted the spirits of everyone she met.
Outside of work, Ashley had many passions. She was a talented musician and artist who found joy in playing music, crocheting, and expressing herself through drawing. She loved long, scenic drives, often seeking peace and inspiration in nature; and she found comfort in quiet moments spent cuddling with her beloved cats.
Ashley was a devoted mother to her daughter, Aryanna Simpson, who was the light of her life. Along with Aryanna, she is also survived by her parents, Jessica McGill and Steve Ritchie; her brothers, Jonathon McGill and Schyler Ritchie; her half brothers, Steven Leasor, Steve Davis, Evan Green, and Chance Brauburger, who held a special place in her heart.
Ashley will be remembered for her compassionate heart, creative spirit, contagious laughter, and the love she freely gave. Her memory will continue to live on in the lives she touched and the joy that she brought.
A public viewing will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Owens Livingston Mortuary from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Graveside services will then follow from 2:15-3:15 p.m. at the Show Low Cemetery, 180 N. 9th St., Show Low, Arizona.
