Ashley Elizabeth Bishop Sikich, 56, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Ashley was born on July 10, 1969, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Nancy and Louis Bishop Jr. She was a graduate of St. Louis Catholic High School and a graduate of McNeese State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications.
Ashley was known for her friendliness and kindness to all of whom she met. Ashley was also well known for her magnificent blue eyes, high cheekbones, and her beautiful face.
Ashley devoted her life to her family as a homemaker, cherishing the time spent caring for those she loved. She was a devout Catholic woman whose faith guided her life and values.
Those left to cherish her memories are husband of 31 years, Steve Sikich; children, Sage Sikich and Stone Sikich; sisters, Amberly Vaughn and Angela Bishop; brothers, Ashton Bishop, Ashland Bishop (and wife), Anthony Bishop, and Austin Bishop; mother, Nancy Yellott Bishop; and her beloved English Bulldog, Thatcher; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in passing by her beloved father, Louis "Danny" Bishop Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Ashley will be laid to rest thereafter at Consolata Cemetery. A wake will be held after the burial ceremony at the Lake Charles Raquet Club.
In lieu of flowers, Ashley would like donations to be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
