Ashley Lynn Thomas, born on February 28, 1988, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on December 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. A graduate of Franklin Heights High School in 2006, Ashley was known for her vibrant spirit and kindness, traits that endeared her to many.
Ashley had a lively personality and was truly devoted to her family, especially her beloved nieces, Baleigh and Madilynn. She was also an animal lover, with her pets holding a special place in her heart. Her friends and family remember her as a kind-hearted and popular individual who brought joy to those around her. Ashley had a passion for sports, enjoying both softball and basketball throughout her life. Additionally, she found pleasure in the thrill of scary movies and the excitement of haunted houses, sharing these interests with her loved ones.
The bonds Ashley formed during her life will be celebrated during a series of memorial events on January 10, 2025. The Memorial Gathering will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service from 4:00 PM at the same location.
Ashley is survived by her father, Guy (Kathy) Thomas; her brother, Austin Thomas; her cherished nieces, Baleigh and Madilynn Thomas; her grandmother, Sally Thomas; her aunt, Sandy (Jerry Marett) Thomas; her cousins, Dustin (Mikayla) Thomas, Miranda Thomas, and Marshall Sanderson.
Her passing is mourned by all who knew her, including those who have already departed this world. She is preceded in death by her mother Flemia Frazier, grandpas, Gerald Thomas and Burgess Frazier;; her grandma, Dorthene Frazier; her aunt, Denetta McDannald; her step-brother, Darrek Deffenbalugh; and her aunt, Peggy Sanderson.
Ashley Lynn Thomas's memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends, whose lives she touched with her warmth and spirit.
