Aspen was born on April 5, 1996, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, loved music, and enjoyed doing makeup and nails. Aspen was a hard worker and stubborn, but she was also very empathetic. She always saw the good in people and always fought for the underdog. Aspen always wanted a horse named Oreo! Her greatest quest in life was to be a mom. She loved her siblings and her Grams and adored her three cats and her dog, Blaze Michael.
Aspen was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Fugate; her daughter, Davia Jadore Fugate; and grandparents: Grandma LaVerne Fugate, Grandpa Harold Fugate, and Grandpa Jerry Mitchell.
Her survivors include her mother, Mary Fugate; three siblings: Robert Lopez II, Giovanna Lopez, and Rodney James II; her Grandma Peggy Mitchell; cousins, Brooklynn Aguilar and Ciera Aguilar; her best friend, Jennifer "Bae" Worley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
