Aspen Rebecca Thomas

Aspen Rebecca Thomas, age 43, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. She was born on July 15, 1982, and raised in Bloomington, Bear Lake County, Idaho.

Aspen shared a life with her partner, Rob Martinez, whom she met in October of 2003. One year later, they welcomed their first son, Drayson, followed by their second son, Donavin, in August of 2007. Being a mother was Aspen's greatest joy and proudest role-her boys were her heart, her purpose, and her legacy.

Aspen was a lover of music and dancing, and she had a creative spirit that led her to try her hand at many new projects throughout her life. She embraced life with curiosity, humor, and a deep love for the people around her. Those who knew her will remember her strength, her warmth, and the way she made others feel welcomed and understood.

For more than two years Aspen bravely battled pancreatic cancer, she faced her journey with remarkable courage and grace. Even in the hardest moments, her love for her family never wavered.

Aspen is survived by her partner, Rob Martinez; her sons, Donavin and Drayson; her sisters, Ciara, Stephanie, Danielle, Mandy, Darcy, and Melissa; and her grandparents, Nyle and Janet. She is preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Janell Thomas, and her grandparents, Nada Jean and Karel Thomas.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared when arrangements are finalized.

I would like to thank everyone who has stepped forward and helped our family in so many ways throughout Aspen's battle. I cannot express how grateful I am for each and every one of you. Your love, support, and kindness have meant more to us than words can say.

Aspen's love lives on through her children, her family, and the countless memories she leaves behind. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
