Assunta Farrell Obituary
Assunta E. Farrell, age 92, of Monroe, CT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 surrounded by family.
Sunny is survived by her children, Mary Judith, Patricia, James and Margaret Lynn, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her spouse, John R. Farrell, and her son, John G. Farrell.
Visitation will be held October 20th at Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 29 South Benson Road, Fairfield from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21st, at St Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road in Fairfield, CT. Interment will follow at the St. Thomas Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Connecticut Burn Center, a cause close to Sunny's heart. https://foundation.bridgeporthospital.org/connecticut-burn-center-donate/
