Athney Navalta

Atheny Navalta, 66, of Laupahoehoe, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born on August 1, 1958, in La Union, Philippines, he was a pillar of strength in his family and will be remembered for his humility, generosity, sense of humor, and love for his family. Atheny dedicated much of his life as a Landscaping Supervisor at Hilton Waikoloa, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. His colleagues admired him for his work ethic and his ability to inspire those around him. He is survived by: WIFE: Cecilia Patiño Navalta DAUGHTER: Rose Anne Navalta SON: Neil Philip Navalta MOTHER: Felismina Navalta BROTHER: Alex Navalta SISTERS: Perlita Agus, Estella Navalta, Jean Go, Armi Navalta, and Nancy Lopez His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Laupahoehoe from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by mass/ memorial service at 6 p.m. at St. Anthony's Church in Laupahoehoe.
