Aubrey (Tab) Chester Redling, Age 87 of Port Hadlock passed away at home peacefully on April 18, 2025.
He was born on Jan 17, 1938 in Seattle, WA to Charles and Mabel (Jensen) Redling. He grew up on Marrowstone Island, WA.
He graduated from Chimacum High School, Chimacum WA, in 1956. Attended the United States Coast Guard for 4 years and graduated as a court reporter. He held numerous positions over the years as a court reporter and his last 10 years of employment, he was a stenographer for the United States Congress.
Tab was a devoted member of the Baha’i faith. He was also a member of the Jefferson County Ham Radio Club and Port Townsend Gun Club.
Tab was a wonderful storyteller; his life was full of wonderful adventures. He was always ready to help others with sound advice and provide a good laugh.
Tab was proceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Mabel (Jensen) Redling, brothers William, Charles, and James Redling, Wife Betty (Newman) Redling, grandson Lamar Roberston, and step-grandson Brandon Erickson and brother-in-law Jack Kalberg).
He is survived by his wife Connie (Kalberg- Erickson) Redling, daughter Kristine Robertson (Redling) & son-in-law Howard Buckbee, son Michael Redling & daughter-in-law Linda Redling (Freed), step-son Bob Erickson, step-daughter Kim Erickson.
Grandchildren Derek Redling, Rachel Nelson (Redling) (Kyle), Jessica Buck (Erickson) (Tanner). Great-granchildren Angelique (Meyers) Samuel (Jordan), Emily Redling, Chloe Redling, Leland Robertson, Rider Nelson, Colin Redling, great grandchild Riley Rose Erickson, Brooklynne Buck, Great-great-grandson Julian Meyers.
Sister-in-law Joanne (Kalberg) Johnson & brother-in-law Don Johnson, sister-in-law Karen (Kalberg) King and brother-in-law Rick King and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at Sound View, Cemetery Marrowstone Island, WA on April 27, 2025 @ 1:00PM.
