Aubrey Smith Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Born on July 4, 1941 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Loyal and Johnnie Sanders Smith. He was the owner of Aubrey's Locksmith. Mr. Smith was a proud Veteran of the National Guard. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Smith of Toccoa; daughter and son in law, Carol and Glenn Glaze of Toccoa; sons, Allen Spivey of Murphy, NC; Lee Spivey of Clarkesville; Don and Katherine McGinnis of Raleigh, NC; son and daughter in law, Michael Smith and Amanda Owens of Decatur; grandchildren, Sarah Edmonds, Natalie Smith, Eileen Spivey, Hannah Spivey, Marlon McCoy, Alex Davis, Cory Sheriff, Brandon Spivey, Aaron Spivey, Rhyse McGinnis, Bryse McGinnis, Harper Smith, Riley Smith; six great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
